Leading Industry recruitment organisation announced as the sponsors of Personal Impact Medals at this year's event extending their partnership into a fourth year.

Fortel, the largest supplier of agency labour to the UK construction industry, have been announced as the sponsors of the Personal Impact Medals at this year's Highways Heroes Awards.

Providing contractors with pre-briefed, compliant teams formed of trusted and skilled workers for construction and key infrastructure projects Fortel have become established as a go-to for leading contractors seeking labour for major projects.

The prestigious awards which are presented to individuals whose selfless actions have made a personal impact to members of society have become one of the most prestigious parts of the ceremony and are the only award which recognises multiple people for their selfless actions.

Previous winners have been given this blue ribbon award for selfless actions such as putting themselves at risk of personal harm to prevent others from attempting to take their own lives and other acts of courage.

The Personal Impact medals are one of the highlights of the annual ceremony and are presented as part of the climax of the gala ceremony.

Recognising the heroic actions of individuals who have coped admirably in the face of adversity, the awards place at the London Hilton on Park Lane, on the 26th November, the awards recognise those who have gone above and beyond their duty, to help someone or improve a situation, either in the communities they work in or to unconditionally support fellow workers in their team.

Speaking about the partnership with Fortel, now in it's fourth year, and their sponsorship of the personal impact medals, Kevin Robinson, Co-founder of the awards said,

"The long standing support for the Highways Heroes Awards from Fortel is a testament to how far this ceremony has come in its relatively short journey.

"From concept to smashing the norm around the usual corporate awards to something which focussed on those we put to work and celebrating our unsung heroes the awards have cemented their place in the hearts of our sector.

"To see organisations such as Fortel truly embodying this is a humbling experience and I give my personal thanks for their commitment ."

Responding to Mr Robinson's comments Hardeep Sanghera, Head of Health and Safety at Fortel said,

"So proud to announce Fortel Group are continuing our support of the Highways Heroes Awards. Our sponsorship for the fourth consecutive year demonstrates a strong commitment to recognizing excellence and innovation of the Highways Heroes.

By sponsoring the Personal Impact Awards category, Fortel Group is specifically highlighting initiatives that have made a significant positive difference in the construction industry. This focus on impact aligns well with the values of both Fortel Group and the Highways Heroes Awards.

I hope that the 2025 Highways Heroes Awards ceremony is a resounding success, celebrating the achievements of those who work and go above and beyond their daily work duties.

Fortel will become one of a selected number of blue ribbon gold sponsors of the event..
